Roland and Studio Electronics to Release the SE-02 Analog Synthesizer

What do you get when you combine a leading manufacturer of electronic instruments like Roland, with an artisan style analog synth creator like Studio Electronics? The answer is the new SE-02 Analog Synthesizer – the debut product of the new Roland Boutique Designer Series.

Studio Electronics has a long history of making craftsman style analog synthesizers. By teaming up with Roland, analog is given its most crystal clean sound to date. The SE-02 uses discrete analog circuitry to create a distinctly “vintage sound” while giving the user expansive functionality and programming options. Some of features included are three types of cross modulation (XMOD), a ripping filter feedback loop, a tempo-syncing LFO with nine waveforms, envelope sweeping and inverting, oscillator sync, a noise generator, and a tempo-syncing delay.

Even with its compact size, the SE-02 is meant for both studio and on-the-go usage. Everything is hands-on and knob-per-function with a logical and intuitive layout. Choose from 384 expertly programmed preset sounds, as well as 128 user locations to store your modifications and new creations.
