When did you start your career?
We’ve been working in the same local club for quite some years now. We both wanted to produce our own music, so we decided to build a recording studio together. Meanwhile, we’re partners in crime for about 2 years.
Any special tricks you would like to share with other DJ’s?
Tricks not really, but we believe that you should be genuine, dare to be a DJ, don’t prepare too much!
Which artist would you like to perform with the most?
We can imagine having a fun night performing with Skrillex.
What is your most impressive experience in the music industry so far?
We are just starting, so we do not have that many experiences to pick from. You should ask us next year..
What is the worst experience in your career so far?
Last year we were not secured by a solid back-up system (stupid) and one day our hard-disk crashed. No data anymore; it was all gone!
What would be your dream job if you had no career as an artist?
Jaggy: Pilot has always been a dream; I’m fascinated by aviation.
Gaunt: That would have been architect. Especially designing soccer arenas is a thing that I would have loved to do.
What do you think about the music industry, nowadays?
Artists are free to make various genres of music. For instance: as a rock artist you’re allowed to make a dance record or a house-deejay can make a hardstyle track. It’s accepted now and this is a great advantage for creativity.
What is your most popular DJ equipment?
We’d say the Pioneer Nexus Series as that’s what you find at all venues these days. Those are great tools to work with. More important however is what music you’re bringing. The audience does not really care from which equipment it is played.
What is your goal?
That people continue to enjoy our music as much as we enjoy making it.
How’s your experience with HouseBootlegs.com?
So far, so good. We are very pleased you are willing to promote our music through your wide-spread network. It enables us to connect with a lot of like-minded people from all over the world.
